Good Morning Campers

What a beautiful place to awake. Lets see what the campers are doing...



James (aka Mr. Diligent) starts every morning out with a run...

After some breakfast it is down to the beach ...

So far we hear the campers are having a great time. Jiffy Pop is a must on any camping trip. James strumming on the guitar and Colin popp'n the corn.

Sweet Lemonade Evangelism Turned Slightly Sour

We headed down to the Pier to pass out Lemonade and see if anyone needed a prayer. We divided up into Guys vs Girls and the Girls gave out the most Lemonade!

Everything was going perfectly until the Houtz van didn't want to go home. The Boss van gave it a jump and we thought we were off on our way... but the stubborn Houtz van only made it to the Seaward Exit. We all made it back and a tow truck took the van to the shop.

Car Wash Report

Thanks to all of you that came to help with the car wash. It was a great success and we raised $438 that will be used for summer and winter camp!

Even though it was a sweltering hot day, the Dodgers won and it was all you could eat Dodger Dogs and Nachos... what could be better??

Egg Drop Contest

Welcome to the first Egg Drop Competition

Each group were given the exact same materials and 45 minutes to construct a container that would protect a raw egg when dropped from various heights (6 feet, 10 feet and then the roof).

After loosing parts of the container after each drop, UnbrEGGable managed to make it to the roof drop with only a small piece of ice cream cone to protect it. Lets watch to see what happens...
