Man it must have been a really boring or bad trip if there are no comments at all!
Sorry Alisa...we're such slackers! I've just been so busy at work... oh wait... I don't have a job! No excuses!! Well, I must say camp couldn't have been better! Yes, female companionship is wonderful. And if camp was TWO weeks long instead of one... I would have wandered to another camp site, looking for refuge with other females. However, I really enjoyed the guys' company all week long. They were very candid... and I loved that. If there had been even ONE girl... camp dynamics and conversations would have been TOTALLY different.
I thought the best part about camp this year (aside from the fabulous topics the speaker chose to discuss) was that we had the entire week to just chill... no organized activities, schedules to stick to, or places to be.... just unlimited free time on the island!
I could write on and on about other highlights... but I want the boys to chime in...
so man up boys!
Ya! No schedule was so awesome! Ya it was definitely very different than any other camp i have been to, I really enjoyed it alot!!
Oh Phil's guitar needed its strings to be changed in the worst way possible. But... as phil has said "make these ol' rusty strings shine" so they were never changed. I can't tell you how happy it made me feel to play my own guitars!
one bummer i had was that my farmers tan got worse not better on the trip. and i got a surfers tan too.
It was the summer camp I have been to.
Best summer camp i have been to!
